Maintenance Request Form

Uniting Country Housing (UCH) endeavours to respond to maintenance as soon as possible. UCH prioritises maintenance work that poses a health and safety risk to tenants or where there is a risk of damage to the property. Maintenance falls under three categories, with different maximum waiting periods for each category. UCH operates from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. An After Hours emergency number is available outside of these hours.

 

Categories

Priority 1/ Emergency: Where possible work will commence within 4 hours of notification, this work is to be completed within 5 business days. Intended for emergencies such as; no power, faulty smoke alarm, smell of gas, electric shocks. Tenant MUST be at home or call-out charge applies. Priority 2/ Urgent: Where possible work to commence within 24 hours after notification, this work is to be completed in 7 business days. Intended for urgent maintenance such as; no hot water, blocked toilets, burst water pipes. Priority 3/ Routine: Where possible routine repairs will be commenced within 21 days of notification and be completed within 45 business days. Intended for routine maintenance such as; faulty stove, locks and glazing, leaking taps, clothes lines, fly screens.
