The Port Pirie Community FoodHub provides members with access to cheaper groceries then available at commercial supermarkets. The FoodHub is an alternative location for grocery shopping, not intended as a replacement, and can only be accessed by referral from a participating agency or organisation.

FoodHub Vouchers

FoodHub Membership

Vouchers are for one off visits to the FoodHub. The items purchased are charged to the referring agency who determine the appropriate value of the voucher depending on your circumstances.

Membership is for longer term access to the FoodHub. The organisation referring you to the service determines how long the membership lasts based on your circumstances.
Clients with membership are required to pay for groceries purchased.

Sorry Day 2023

Today is National Sorry Day, which acknowledges the wrongful treatment of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people under Government policy, which came to be known as the stolen generations, which removed children and young people from their families and communities. This occasion represents an opportunity for all Australians to reflect on past government practices and to understand the ongoing trauma that continues to affect the oldest, continuous living culture on our planet.
The Haven workshops

The Haven Port Pirie is currently running a series of Self Care Workshops. If you are interested in attending the next one or a gardening or cooking group then head over to their page. The Haven is a free and confidential service providing information and referrals to women in Port Pirie. The Haven is located at the Port Pirie Community Centre and made possible by Women's Information Service.

Uniting Country Housing is a community housing provider with a number of properties across the region for eligible clients. Housing is limited to low-income families and individuals.
