Success of Walking a Country Mile

Walking A Country Mile 👣 The SA Country North Homeless Alliance launched Walking a Country Mile to raise funds for Homelessness in Country South Australia. The aim was to walk 914km which is the distance from Kadina to Ceduna to raise funds and awareness of homelessness. The team ended up walking well over 1800 km and raising more than $2200 for people sleeping rough. This was combined with local events and Alliance designed 4m awareness banners. Read more

Expanded community housing support services for Yorke Peninsula

Uniting Country Housing and Southern Yorke Peninsula Community Housing Association Inc. are excited to announce the formulation of a partnership with an aim of increasing housing support services in the Yorke Peninsula region. On 1st July 2022, Southern Yorke Peninsula (SYP) Community Housing Association Inc transferred 34 community housing assets to Uniting Country Housing. Read more
